My art is known worldwide for "The faces that share eyes", so, inspired by the St. Louis Cardinals Big WIN on Friday night, I went into my studio on Saturday morning and painted an oil titled: "Cardinals Fan". The painting is of a St. Louis Cardinals Fan sharing eyes with two cardinal birds. I was supposed to be painting a cat that day, but could not get the excitement of the World Series Win out of my head. Then upon hearing of Tony La Russa's retirement, I decided to present the original painting to him as my gift of thanks for all he has done for baseball entertainment here in St. Louis.
My studio and art gallery is in Chesterfield Mall on the lower level near Sears. Reproductions are available in store and by phone.
