Sharon Marie Geisen Hayes - Artist • Author • Creative Director • Designer • Producer Born in Alton Illinois in 1959, the fourth child in a diverse succession of nine. Hayes began her career in the graphic arts world and has 20+ years experience as an Executive Creative Director, Designer, Creative Writer and Producer. The unique ability to understand marketing and the creative process has led her to assist other companies with the start of their own sales promotion departments, as well as owning her own sales promotion agency. Sharon specializes in new product design and introduction. She has held key creative positions and has freelanced for several sales and event marketing agencies. Her award-winning talent has had significant impact on an impressive client roster including The Coca-Cola Company, The Kellogg Company, HBO Television, Hasbro Toys, Ralston Purina Company, Nabisco Foods and American Express Incentive Services. In 2003 Sharon took a sabbatical from the graphic arts world to produce and promote her fine arts line, which was eventually marketed worldwide through galleries and retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Deck the Walls and many more. Hayes is nationally recognized for her contemporary, “sophisticatedly fun” oil paintings featuring abstract figures with eye-sharing faces. She exhibits her art at the New York International Art Expo. Her painting titled: “The Crowded Cafe”, with 21 faces, has been featured in lights in Time Square and Las Vegas. In October of 2007 she released her first book titled: “Psych Yourself Skinny” Lose Weight the Fun and Creative way! In 2008 Sharon began creating CurleeCool.com an entertaining, interactive web world and toy line for children ages 3-9. In 2010 she began writing the Curlee Cool series of stories, which are inspired by her own childhood dreams, and her pure love of life and people. All of the Curlee Cool Characters come to life in the form of plush dolls and are a reflection of Sharon’s unique and fun art style.
