Born in Alton Illinois in 1959, the fourth child in a diverse succession of nine. Nationally recognized for her contemporary, “sophisticatedly fun” oil paintings featuring abstract figures with eye-sharing faces, Hayes' driving interest includes fine art, graphic art, interior design and creative writing. At the age of twenty two years she began a career in the graphic arts world and has 20+ years' experience as an Executive Creative Director, Designer, Creative Writer and Producer. A unique ability to understand marketing and the creative process has led Sharon to assist other companies with the start of their own sales promotion departments, as well as owning her own sales promotion agency. Sharon specializes in new product design and introduction. She has held key creative positions and has freelanced at several St. Louis based sales and event marketing agencies. Her award-winning talent has had significant impact on an impressive client roster including The Coca-Cola Company, The Kellogg Company, HBO Television, Hasbro Toys, Ralston Purina Company, Holiday Inn Worldwide, Nabisco Foods and American Express Incentive Services. In 2003 Sharon took a sabbatical from the graphic arts world to produce and promote her fine art line, which were eventually marketed worldwide. In October of 2007 she released her first book titled: “Psych Yourself Skinny” Lose Weight the Fun and Creative way! And currently has two other books in the works. Most recently she has launched Angel Heavenª world.com which is a safe and wholesome interactive childrens web site & toy line based on her poems “Guardian Angel” and “Earning Wings”.
